Welcome, mellon. Mayhaps you have heard these words afore. They may seem strange, or familiar to you. The above is written in the language of the Elves, the Sindar; and it's meaning is one that you should take to heart. "Greetings, my Elven brothers. Listen! The Malledhrim wish warriors to fight against the shadows!" That is our message, read well...and take them to heart.

The Malledhrim is an Elven-only Kinship on [EN-RP] Laurelin server for LotRO (Lord of the Rings Online). Our story is long and old. We are the protectors of all Elven Virtues. We are the Golden Host, named after the supreme Host of Lothlórien, of the same name. Though we wander all of Eriador, and that of which Rhovanion permits, our home shall be unique to each and every kinsman. Be you of Lothlórien, Mirkwood, Imladris or Lindon. Your home is yours to keep.

The Malledhrim are one of LotRO's growing kins, even though we are of the largest rank available. For one year the kin has existed, going by many names, yet now is the time for change to cease. The Malledhrim is the name it shall be known as for years to come.

Roleplay is our lifeblood, as it is with any inhabitant of [EN-RP] Laurelin. We try our best to keep the community active. With an alliance with Genesis of The Free, another heavy RP kinship, we hope we can keep Elven Roleplay at a max, and not let it diminish.

The name has oft been of debate. We have been accused of 'copy-catting'. I say to any of these poor souls, who dares call us this: We are but a glimpse of the glory of the 'real' Golden Host. Lest your eyes be taken from you and ill dreams steal your sleep, read our story. Learn our past. Feel our sorrows and our pains and let it fill you.

Should your path be lonely, should your heart bear sorrows only company can heal, come to us. Our kinhouse, 8 Haven Way, Lothrellin of the Falathlorn, will remain open to all who seek kinship with us.

Features of The Malledhrim

Malledhrim Members enjoy the facilities that we provide for them. These facilities include:

• Crafting Assistance: We can assist you in crafting, either by making items; providing mats, or giving advice on where to find resources.
• Barter System: In keeping with Elven Lore, we do not use currency when purchasing items from within the kin. We swap items of equal value.
• Lore Assistance: Talk to our members and learn the lore of Middle-earth. Speak with any Kinmember or Officer, who can help educate you in the ways of Laurelin.
• Levelling Assistance: Want to get your character somewhere high-level? Just ask for help, and see who is available. If not, arrange something on these forums!
  
• Quest Assistance: Stuck on a particular quest? Need a fellowship for another? Just ask in kinchat! Or pop a request here
  
• Adaptive Recruitment: Got a friend wanting to join the Kin? Speak to Malliel, our Lady of Mustering, or Lahdir; the Lord of Mustering. They will arange anything required..
• Exciting Events: Designed to keep kinmembers 'alive' and on their toes, we have regular events; from Kinmeetings, to Alliance events, and even including the new 'Elven Assembly' event, every Wednesday at 8PM GMT. Got a suggestion for an event? Speak to Ioristiel, our Events Officer.
